General Information
Once you arrive at the convention center, we recommend checking your services as early as possible so we can assist with any issues that may occur as soon as we are able. While we will make every effort to install all purchased services before the exhibitor move-in begins; please note that installation delays can occur if we do not know where to place physical lines or items, if freight is obstructing access to floor boxes and columns, or if your service is located in a high traffic area that would damage services should they be installed before load-in is completed.
Technical assistance is available onsite from 8am to 5pm during move-in and 8am to 7pm on event days.

How do I get assistance with my internet during the event?

I need a hardline connection, should I choose "Shared Internet"?
Choose Shared Internet for: normal internet browsing, checking email, web demonstrations, and online sales (Internet Basic: 5 Mbps is recommended for 1-2 devices - Internet Business: 20 Mbps is recommended for 3-10 devices)
I need a hardline connection, should I choose "Dedicated Internet"?
Choose Dedicated Internet for: live steaming, large uploads/downloads, PCI compliance/security requirements, or high-bandwidth applications
Can I bring a router?
Yes, we allow the use of routers on any of our hardlines. However, we do not rent routers. We can rent switches as part of our "additional Devices" service.
I have several devices that will be connected via hardline. What should I order?
You will need to order the "Additional Devices" service. For example, if you have three devices, you will need to order two additional devices. The "Additional Devices" service includes a switch, patch cables and floor networking labor.
HELP! My internet doesn't work!
Check to make sure all cables are properly plugged in to the device and switch (if applicable). If you are using Wi-Fi, make sure your device is connected to the right network. If you are still experiencing issues, please call (385)-468-2229, and we can dispatch a technician to assist.
How many devices can I connect to a Wi-Fi Hotspot?
Wi-Fi Hotspots are available in 20, 50, and 100 Mb increments. We recommend 2 Mbps per user. For example, a 20 Mb Wi-Fi Hotspot would typically support up to 10 users.
I have a Smart TV. Can I connect it to the Salt Palace Premium Wi-Fi?
No, a Smart TV does not utilize a web browser which is required, as our Premium Wi-Fi services use a splash page for access. We recommend our "Smart Wi-Fi", "Hotspot" or "Buyout Wi-Fi" srevices for smart TVs, credit card terminals, streaming/casting devices and any other IoT devices that need Internet access.
Can I stream on Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can stream on Wi-Fi, but we do not recommend it. Wireless internet is inherently vulnerable to interference, noice, and are subject to the activity of others on the same network. A wired connection is always preferred if the steaming is critical to the success of your event.
Are there any additional labor costs?
No, standard labor is included in the pricing of all services. Labor will only be charged if services outside of the standard scope of installation is required.
What is the cancellation policy?
Services can be cancelled anytime BEFORE move-in begins. Once event move-in has started; we can make changes and alterations to services, but we do not allow full canellations past that point.
